FOUNDATION

ARTICLE    1

Famagusta Tradesmen and Craftsmen Cooperative ‘Mez-Koop Ltd.’ was established in Famagusta on 5, July 1978 with the perspective of alterable partnership and capital, and limited liability as part of the principles of the cooperative system. The economic interests of founding partners who have their surnames, business addresses and residential addresses and the ones who were admitted to partnership by accepting the articles of agreement afterwards are conserved as mentioned in the main contract.

ARTICLE   2

a- The short name of the cooperative is Mez-Koop Ltd.

b- Place of Management:  Dt. Ramiz Gökçe Str. No: 7

c- Area of focus is within the borders of the TRNC.

OBJECTIVES

ARTICLE 3

a- Ensuring that the partners in need get loan for productive purposes with easy payment terms to  develop their business, increase their production, purchase machinery, establish factories, buy and sell real estate and set up a collective bussiness and marketing.

b- To encourage savings among members.

c- To give opportunities to improve the financial well-being of the accumulated savings of founders and other member colleagues.

d- Accepting deposits from shareholders and non-shareholders to actualize the economic independence of Tradesmen and Craftsmen.

e- Helping the members see that economic growth is possible by way of the cooperative system.

f-  Accomplishing activities to provide all kinds of insurance services to its partners.

g- To arrange the import and export of all kinds of goods for the professional needs of the cooperative and its partners.
